Sustainable Bar & Grille Design

On August 21, 2013 by Rebecca

As part of a mixed-used commercial/residential building in San Francisco’s Rincon Park, this is a 7,000 square foot indoor/outdoor restaurant (mock project). Sitting on the rooftop level, this happy hour spot was designed for the local workforce and residents. This project’s primary focus was to develop a green building design with sustainable features. Inspired by the many people crossing paths along the Embarcadero, the word “cross” became my true source of design inspiration. This restaurant features architectural elements that speak to the word “cross” as well as sustainable materials, indoor/outdoor connections, passive air circulation paths and daylighting.
