Sustainable Coffee Shop Design

On August 21, 2013 by Rebecca

This is a 3,000 square foot (mock) coffee shop in a mixed-used commercial/residential building which sits along Rincon Park in San Francisco. This project’s primary focus was to develop a green building design with sustainable and green features. Inspired by the many people crossing paths along the Embarcadero, the word “cross” became my true source of design inspiration. This coffee shop features architectural elements that speak to the word “cross” as well as sustainable materials, passive air circulation paths and daylighting.
